1. Scope of Work

a. Window Cleaning Services

Window cleaning includes washing glass surfaces and sills unless otherwise stated.

Service Limitations:

• Inaccessible or High Windows: We reserve the right to refuse service for windows deemed inaccessible or unsafe due to their location, height, or surrounding structures. If such windows can be safely serviced using specialized equipment, additional charges will apply with client approval. We will notify clients of inaccessible areas and suggest alternative solutions when necessary.

• Additional Services: Frame and screen cleaning, hard water stain removal, and post-construction cleaning will incur additional charges.

b. Pressure Washing Services

Pressure washing, soft washing, and drone cleaning include washing surfaces with appropriate pressure, water volume, and cleaning solutions.

Service Limitations:

• Damaged Surfaces: We may refuse to clean any surfaces already damaged or likely to be damaged during service. Concerns will be discussed with each customer to find an acceptable solution.

• Areas Prone to Water Damage: We will identify any areas at risk of leaks or water damage and, with customer approval, devise an appropriate cleaning plan. If a solution cannot be agreed upon, service will be declined. Clean Shine® is not responsible for unforeseen damage caused by existing cracks or unknown water pathways.

Drone Cleaning:

• Drone cleaning is ideal for hard-to-reach surfaces. Service may be postponed in high winds or near hazardous obstacles.

Sign Letter Cleaning:

• With approval, we may remove, clean, and reinstall sign letters.

• Cracked or broken letters will be identified and reviewed with the client before proceeding.

• If safety hazards (e.g., electrical wires, traffic) cannot be mitigated, the cleaning will not be performed.

• When required, a boom or scissor lift will be used, and all safety protocols followed.

c. Janitorial Services

Standard Office/Residential Cleaning Includes:

• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming

• Garbage collection

• Restocking supplies (paper/soap)

• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchens and washrooms

Additional Services: High dusting, floor refinishing, carpet cleaning, wall washing, graffiti removal, deep cleans, and post-construction cleaning are quoted separately.

2. Pricing and Quotes

• All quotes are valid for 60 days.

• Pricing will be adjusted if the scope of work changes.

• Additional services outside the original quote will be billed at a pre-agreed rate.

• All prices are subject to applicable provincial and federal taxes (PST/GST/HST/QST).

3. Scheduling and Access

• Service times may vary due to weather or other conditions.

• Residential clients: Ensure property access (e.g., gates unlocked, pets secured, no obstructions).

• We request 24–48 hours’ notice for cancellations.

4. Payment Terms

Commercial / Retail

• Consolidated invoices: Due within 45 days of issuance.

• All other invoices: Due within 30 days unless otherwise agreed upon.

Late Fees:

• Invoices < $1,000: $10/month late fee

• Invoices > $1,000: 3% of the outstanding balance per month

Accounts overdue by 3 months may result in suspension of services.

Residential

• Payment is due upon completion of services.

• Cash

5. Liability and Damages

Clean Shine® and Brillez® are not liable for pre-existing damage to windows, screens, frames, or property.

We are insured for accidents and property damage. Clients are responsible for providing clear access and a safe environment.

6. Privacy Policy

Customer data is collected in compliance with Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA) and is used only for:

• Scheduling

• Invoicing

• Payments

• Follow-up communication

We do not share information with third parties without consent.

7. Warranty & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are committed to high-quality service.

• Signing the Proof of Work app or invoice indicates satisfaction.

• If dissatisfied, contact us within 24 hours for a re-clean.

We are not responsible for weather-related spotting or previously damaged glass.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Canadian law.

By booking a service with Clean Shine® and Brillez®, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
